Token & Crafting Quick Guide

blog.fyxgaming.com

Greetings Fighters!

Welcome to the CryptoFights Crafting and Token Quick Guide!

This guide is a quick review of the Crafting & Enchanting features coming to CryptoFights 2 this Fall!

New Features

CryptoFights is undergoing a monumental remaster and expansion, set to release in late 2022. The currently announced additions to the game are the introduction of the CFS Token and new game modes, which include Crafting and Enchanting.

What will the CFS Token be used for?

CFS Tokens will be the native currency used in the entire CryptoFights ecosystem. With the release of CryptoFights 2, all game functions will require CFS Tokens, similarly to how games require earnable or purchasable currencies to unlock features. Most in-game actions will cost less than a few cents. Common uses of the token include:

  1. NFT Marketplace

  2. Creating Fighters

  3. Crafting & Enchanting materials, weapons, and armor

  4. PvP Arenas and PvE Bosses

  5. Fighter Respect

  6. Advanced staking in Arenas

  7. Future Games and Platform Services by FYX Gaming

  8. Unlocking... unannounced project 👀

How can you access more CFS Tokens?

Gamers have plenty of opportunities to access more CFS Tokens. In normal video games, you grind to unlock weapons, armor, cosmetics, and more to customize or advance your character. That is the same in CryptoFights, but with an added benefit.

Here are a few ways users can multiply their efforts:

  1. Winning in Arenas or from advanced staking in the Arenas

  2. Selling or holding CFS Tokens

  3. Collecting rare weapons, materials, scrolls, or blueprints and selling them in the marketplace

  4. Crafting rare or common weapons, materials, scrolls, or blueprints and selling them in the marketplace

  5. Crafting Portal Fragments and selling them in the marketplace (one of the highest valued items)

  6. Crafting Portal Fragments and using them for Portal Charging

  7. Making the Gods Leaderboard

We will always develop more ways for gamer to play and multiply their winnings! It benefits us both, after all! One thing we are interested in developing in the future is referral royalties. Theoretically, gamers would refer friends and receive a value of Tokens or items their friends sold in the marketplace.

Crafting Breakdown

Crafting is a real unique feature CryptoFights is bringing to the stage. Every item you use in the game is an NFT, meaning it has a value that can be multiplied and manipulated. Every time you win an Arena match or a Boss fight, you will receive a variety of NFTs in the form of weapons, armor, materials, and recipes. We know what weapons and armor are, so lets skip to materials.

Materials are combined to create components, such as 25 Sturdy Bone materials will create an Ancient Bone component. Weapons and armor can be dismantled for their materials. This applies to weapons and armor both currently owned and earned in the future.

Recipes come in two forms, blueprints and scrolls. Recipes are rare drops that can be used or sold in the marketplace.

Blueprints, the first recipe, output weapons and armor with sockets or modifiers. For example, a Blueprint for a Socketed Dagger would output a Fine Dagger with a +1 damage socket. Another blueprint example is to Add a Socket. That means you can add one socket slot to an item! So, what are sockets used for? That's where scrolls come in.

Scrolls, the second recipe, output spheres with abilities. For example, a Scroll for a Fiery Sphere would output a Fiery Sphere with at least +1 Fire Damage. Remember above, the Fine Dagger with a +1 damage socket available? You would Imbue your Firery Sphere into the damage socket! Now you have a Fine Dagger with +1 Fire Damage!

Imbuing is the process of adding an ability sphere to a weapon. Imbuing a sphere into the socket on a weapon is permanent. This means you can not transfer sphere abilities from one weapon to another. However, you can dismantle weapons and armor for their materials to start fresh!

Portal Charging

First of all, Portals are a major feature of CryptoFights 2. They're more important than you can imagine, but you'll learn more about them when we announce our "unannounced project" (so stay tuned!) Let's just say, portals are not solely something to stand in front of before a match.

Portal Charging is one of our most unique features coming to CryptoFights this fall. Portals charge by locking a batch of Portal Fragments. The fragments are periodically destroyed (burned) and CFS Token rewards are sent to the player. Portal Rewards come from Newly Minted CFS Tokens and PvP Fees. Players who craft and burn more fragments get a larger share of rewards.

So, you dismantle powerful items for their materials, craft portal fragments from those materials, charge portals, then receive more CFS Tokens!? Sounds crazy, but it's true. Portal Charging rewards players for their efforts and controls inflation in our CryptoFights economy. Since Fragments are the ultimate component, at the top of the Crafting System, burning fragments is an item sink that creates positive pressure to transform mundane unwanted items into Fragments, and in turn receive CFS Tokens! You can learn more about portal charging by viewing this article or our white paper.
