CryptoFights Chronicles: Fighting For More
CryptoFights Chronicles: Fighting for More

Greetings Fighters,

Welcome back to CryptoFights Chronicle Early-Release Series! CryptoFights 2.0 is making steady progress, and we are excited to share it with you. We know our community values seeing our development, and this series focuses on bringing that to you.

We kicked off CryptoFights Chronicles with the introduction of Portal Charging and what it has to do with the soon-to-release CryptoFights Token.

Before we get into it, our community gets access to almost everything... before everyone else! So if you're interested in early release news, we recommend joining our Discord or Telegram.

Fighting for Something New

Something the FYX Gaming team is excited to bring to the CryptoFights World is new weapons and armor.

Crafting and Enchanting are the main expansions coming to CryptoFights 2, which is only one way to get new items. This introduces the process of gathering weapons and materials in the form of NFT's, melting them for their components, and combining them to create unique, never before seen items.

Some fighters will be farmers. They'll work diligently to acquire high volumes of the rarest weapons, armor, materials, components, blueprints, scrolls, and spheres - all to sell in the marketplace. All items will be sold with the CryptoFights token, which provides real value outside of the game.

For the Most Dedicated Players

Some fight for honor, others fight for power.

The CryptoFights team has developed new weapons and armor to be used in-game. The following weapon cards specify these are concepts of weapons designed to be cosmetic. The true purpose of each item and items not shown will be revealed in the future. This is a measure to protect any unannounced projects as we continue to expand the CryptoFights world.

Other than Crafting and Enchanting, there are a few ways we will introduce new items to our game.

Some will be cosmetic, like our Figher Illusions, which are purchasable as NFT's in the marketplace and change the physical look but do not add abilities. We hold true that CryptoFights is not pay-to-win. So, any weapons or armor developed and released to the Marketplace by our team will add to the cosmetic appearance but remain neutral in performance.

Some weapons and armor will be earnable at varying levels of difficulty. Currently, weapons and armor battle rewards are equipped with unique abilities and performance modifiers. However, their appearance remains similar to one another, with slight differences in colors and elemental glimmer. These newly designed weapons may become earnable as battle rewards with special abilities and performance modifiers.

Another way fighters may earn newly developed weapon and armor are by fighting against specific bosses or at a specific difficulty in the Arena. With the re-introduction of our Arena and Gods Leaderboard, all fighters must use CryptoFights Token to enter matches against other players. The winner will receive staking and battle rewards, some of which may be rare and uniquely designed items. For those concerned about paying to compete in arenas - do not fret. Each dungeon you complete will still provide battle rewards of weapons, armor, and materials that can be melted for their value in CFS Token. The more you play, the more you earn.

The final way a fighter may earn these items is by introducing our Quest Stone. Veteran players have seen the Quest Stone in our Warrior Hub and speculate the grand opening. The Quest Stone will be available sometime after the launch of CryptoFights 2, which will reward users with earnable items such as weapons, armor, materials, or cosmetics.

What is especially fun about the Quest Stone, Arena, and Questline Rewards is these features introduce earnable items specific to achievements. Whether you've made it to the God's Leaderboard in Area, conquered powerful bosses from Questline, or reached a difficult Quest Stone Achievement - your fighter will have many opportunities to stand out from the crowd and make a name for yourself in the Battlegrounds.

These are just a few of the many changes in the works. Once again, please remember this is a work-in-progress, and things are subject to change.
